From the very beginning our sales rep Angel was very helpful. He took the time to walk us through the entire procedure from beginning to end, including fully explaining the steps on how the company would take care of acquiring the required permits from the city. The crew who installed our heating and a/c unit was very professional and always arrived on time. The installation was completed within the time promised, which for anybody who has done home upgrades or remodeling knows happens very rarely and is much appreciated. Edward was onsite during the city inspection and made sure to answer any questions and take care of all corrections in a very timely manner. Working with this company has been one of the better experiences during our remodel, and we would recommend anybody to choose Southwest HVAC for their heater and/or a/c installation.

My sister and her husband used Southwest HVAC when they needed to install a new AC. They were completely happy with their service and recommended that I get an estimate from them. I talked with two other companies and felt hesitant about the price and workmanship. After talking to my sister I called Southwest and Tommy, Project Manager, came out the same day. He examined thoroughly and explained from the beginning to the end of the project and the price was reasonable for Heating and AC systems. I knew I needed a whole new system! My system was over 20 years old. He was patient and answered all of my questions as we went over the system and what my house needed. I used HERO program to finance the project and Tommy explained what I had to do step by step. I am very happy to have worked with Tommy! He was professional, sincere, not pushy, and explained the choices which were appropriate for my house. I felt confident about making my decisions, unlike when I talked to two previous companies.
After the completion of the job, the next work day, We Green, came to do HERS test. Tommy also check the completed job for himself and took photos. After the HERS test report comes out, the city inspector meets a Southwest person to get the final approval for the permit.
By understanding the terms and what entailed for this project, I was able to make decisions confidently. I have to thank Tommy for helping me through this process!

We purchased a home and on purchase our ac was working fine . It wasn't until this past heatwave that we finally turned on our AC and it wasn't working ! We called and our technician Giovanni was able to come out to our house in such short notice . Giovanni was very professional and had our ac working in no time ! Our house now has great AC that blows strong and cold . Thank you Giovanni !

Angel the sales rep came out for a presentation and did such an outstanding job covering all the details of the ac unit we had added to our existing forced air heater. He informed me of all the work that would be done, and made sure his work crew Mark and Francisco would take care of our home. The price was the best of the 3 companies that came to bid as well. I initially had the costco company come out and they were easily quoting 40% more for a lesser unit. I highly recommend Southwest HVAC. They did a very clean installation, and I couldn't be happier!

This is a long overdue review that I meant to do months ago.

After buying a house without central AC, one of the first priorities was to get central AC installed. I met with several companies and Angel from Southwest HVAC was easily the best one. He arrived on time (he was early and just waiting outside until our scheduled time) and walked me through the whole process step by step with a binder full of pictures. They were not the cheapest quote I received but I was willing to pay more for reliability and friendliness.

The actual job took about 3-4 days. Angel's crew was polite and mindful of keeping the house clean during the whole installation. Angel kept in constant touch as well and helped us coordinate with the crew and the people to do the patchwork/clean up.

It's been months since the HVAC was installed and it worked well throughout the summer and winter. In fact, I'm still able to get in touch with Angel to this day on one minor issue (the heater had some dust come out).

Overall, I'm happy to have gone with Southwest HVAC.

We called Southwest HVAC on a recommendation from my brother-in-law. He thought highly of the service and was pleased with the price. We got Tommy as our project manager. He was knowledgeable and straightforward. He advised us on what we should and shouldn't do and never tried to upsell. The prices were resonable too. So we went with getting our new AC system through southwest. Tommy told us what we were going to do so there were no surprises. The day of the install, Tommy even came by to check up on the progress. His best quote was "I hope I don't see you for a long time" basically not because he wasn't friendly, but because if we ever saw him again, that would mean we had a problem. The installation was fast and we are very happy with our product. The transition was seamless and now we have a great air conditioning system that we hope lasts for a long time.

We just had our AC done like two weeks ago, it's awesome we can finally sleep comfortable...Angel was very professional, explained everything to us in detail never in any rush. Edwin and his team always so good and more than anything clean. All 3 day they were working always so friendly and willing to answer any questions we had for them. In fact Edwin went out of his way to helped my neighbor with her electricity. I definitely recommend southwest HVAC to anyone.

Julio came out to give us a quote. Very courteous and professional. Their bid was the best we received from several places (thousands less then COSTCO affiliate). We felt very comfortable going with Southwest. They installed a 5 ton Amana system and everything went smooth. Clean, professional, and end product is fantastic.

Great service! They were quick to respond and come the next day. Mark was friendly and was excellent in communicating. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. He was clean and wore gloves and a mask because of this pandemic. I will definitely call them again this coming winter to have them service my heater.

These guys were great. We were told by the gas company that our exhaust was leaking from our HVAC and Fabian came out the next morning to repair it and service the unit. The price was great. Fabian was very knowledgeable and kind. Will definitely use them again!

I had a new central AC system installed yesterday and today. The entire team was very professional. I was able to schedule a consultation for several days after my initial call. Oscar surveyed my property and provided me with a quote very promptly. Oscar and Julio both worked with me to review the quote, understand the product being ordered, and schedule prompt installation. The installers, Johnnie and Francisco were very professional and completed the job as scheduled. Overall, everyone I dealt with was prompt, on time, and easy to reach by phone and email. The permit inspections went smoothly. I am very pleased I chose this company.

My husband and I just purchased our home in Long Beach, and were unable to determine why our AC was not running prior to moving day. We called Southwest HVAC for an appt and Hector arrived the next day, quickly trouble-shooting our attic furnace as the culprit. Though a simple flip of the switch was all it took for cool air to flow, he checked over the furnace for us, replaced the dirty misfit filter, then inspected and thoroughly cleaned our AC unit. At a time where stress is high and the money seems to pour out of our pockets, Hector and Southwest HVAC were a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to our tight schedule, especially in the middle of a heatwave. We definitely got more service and expertise than what we paid for and will certainly call them for our future seasonal service needs.

When I called southwest, I spoke directly to the owner who was very honest and trustworthy. He scheduled an appt for the next day. They sent Ryan, who was an excellent service guy. Backstory: I had a different company come out and charge $150 for an AC tuneup and all they did was a visual inspection then wanted to up-sell me and charge outrageous prices to clean my coils @ $380 per unit (I have two units). So I called Southwest hvac to compare prices and they quoted half the price @$165/unit for cleanings. Then once Ryan got here, he ended up cleaning my coils for free because he said they weren't that dirty. So I signed up for a 2 yr service plan where they clean coils and replace filters once/yr. for $300. So that's only $150 per year to replace filters and do cleanings during the tuneup + 20% off all other services. That's a good deal and a super honest company. I searched around and after finding these guys, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We had Southwest install a new system in our home this year. They actually wrote up an estimate for us a year ago and still honored the quote. They were quick and professional! Happy with the great service.

Tommy arrived on time and did a very thorough walk-thru with me. He then did something none of the other HVAC contractors I got quotes from did, he sat down and gave me a quote on the spot while talking through each and every point. He answered any questions I had and was generally very informative. Really stood out for me when comparing to other quotes I received.

When it came time for my HVAC install, the team showed up and got cracking. They pumped out a full HVAC install (compressor, furnace, ducting, the works) in just three days! Johnny was ace on managing the team on-site while Tommy made sure to stop by every day or so to check in on status.

After everything was installed, Johnny invited me up to the attic and showed me every piece of my new system and how it worked. We said our goodbyes and I enjoyed my first evening with fully functional central heat and air.

It wasn't until later that night that I noticed my doorbell was no longer working. I hit Tommy up with a quick text and he said they'd fix it. Sure enough, Johnny and Brian were back the very next day. They did some troubleshooting, replaced some parts, and fixed the issue quickly.

Seriously, these guys do top notch work and make sure to take care of their customers. It's not unusual for a contractor to finish the job and disappear immediately after, never to be heard from again. Southwest HVAC will not do that to you.

Had an amazing experience with this company. My heater wasn't working properly and they came in and immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it for a very reasonable price. Excellent service and amazing prices. I took advantage of their Yelp deal of paying $50 for $100 worth of service. Furthermore, they have a deal where your heating and AC will be serviced three times a year for a reasonable one time price. I normally don't do Yelp reviews but I was so impressed with them I had to give a shout out!! If you're looking to service your heating or AC unit, look no further, this place and their technicians are the best!!!!

Great and fast service from Angel and the team at Southwest. I hired them to install AC in my house. Angel did a great job explaining the different options and helped pick what made most sense for us (no aggressive selling technique, very knowledgeable). Price was good and job was clean and overall well done.

He knows his job and claims over 20 years experience. He demonstrated that knowledge on my HVAC unit.

I've had 2 techs from 2 different companies unable to fix the problem. One tried to sell me a whole new unit for $15,000. I felt like I was dealing with a salesman not a repairman.

Turns out I wired the thermostat wrong and goofed on the programming. I love that Frank caught it right away and fixed the problem.

i do Property management for a large company in the greater Los Angeles area i use southwest hvac for all my replacements and repairs they are a professional company easy to deal with and very well priced Angel Meza is a professional honest respectable gentlemen i found him online and gave him a call he was at my building the next day needles to say i gave him the job the work was done quickly neatly and professionally i have used him many times since and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs

I'm over due with this review, but it's better late than never. Julio and his team did a wonderful job installing out new A/C throughout the house a few months back. This company takes pride in what they do and goes that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction :) Calls are answered promptly and the information given is detailed. Don't hesitate to call....you'll be very pleased with the service!

OMG!! I totally see why they have five stars! Firstly, they respond with a quickness. Secondly, customer service is great! Angel was my estimator/rep who helped me with everything. He came to my house explained all my options to me, and helped me make a decision that I was comfortable with for my house and my finances. I went with a mini split. I'm a true Californian, I'm freezing once it hits below 60 and unbearably uncomfortable when it hits more than 80 This system has cooled all the common areas in my house as expected and as Angel described. It does cool the bedrooms with the doors open - slowly, but definitely surely. (Plus, we already have individual mini Window AC units that we barely even use now) Lastly, the team that did the installation was amazing. They were polite and professional. Once it was installed they stayed for a good while to make sure everything worked great, which was very considerate of them. When they left, Angel called me to see how things went. A couple days later, he called me just to confirm. I confirmed the systemstill working amazingly. I had my doubts of how it would look in my house too. It's actually not ugly LOL Right on time before the crazy summer, with who knows when this COVID Quarantine will be over. At least my kiddos and I will be most comfortable in our house! TRUST the reviews and you will NOT be disappointed!

What a great experience! The project manger Albert Nevarez took me through the entire process from day one. He came in for an evaluation and explained the job in detail. He gave me great advise on the system and vent locations. I appreciated that he was at the project site daily and answered all of my questions. The crew, Oliver and Johnny did a fantastic job. We chose Southwest HVAC for our property in Santa Monica, among 5 HVAC companies that we interviewed because of the confidence Tommy Demirjian gave us. He is an excellent communicator with strong passion for his job that he went above and beyond to complete the installation with city inspection and approval. He is a very sincere, hard working, accountable, and honest person. He responded promptly to my calls and text messages. My advice to home owners who are looking to fix/renovate home is to hire people/companies with strong work ethics and personal values/guiding principles like Tommy Demirjian.

We have multiple properties and have another company under contract to take care of our heating/cooling/electrical/plumbing needs. When our home air conditioner stopped working a few days ago, we called them to come out. Long story, they said our unit was shot, not worth putting money into and a new system would cost $10,000. Well, before I spend that kind of money I'm going to get a second opinion.

I yelped and found Southwest HVAC, who were the highest rated. Frank came out exactly on schedule, found the defective part, had one in his truck and 20 minutes later, our system was back on track! Cost? $280.00! He did say that we would need a new system in a couple of years and advised us to start saving as a good system would run $6,500-$7,000. Still $3,000 less than our contract-company!

Tommy came out for an estimate and explained all of the options we had very clearly and was able to address all of our questions and concerns. He got us set up with installation very quick, and the whole process was extremely smooth. Tommy was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. Very reasonable price, would definitely recommend.

Southwest HVAC is without a doubt the best air conditioning company my family and I have had the fortune and pleasure of doing business with.

The guys at HVAC are top notch. Angel, Joney, Francisco, Javier, and Fabian, are extremely polite, professional, and hard-working. I think I am forgetting a few names, but the rest of the employees are likewise excellent in every respect.

I am particularly fond of Southwest HVAC because they work honestly and they charge money honestly. My building is over 40 years old and thus required that one of our two HVAC units be replaced. Southwest HVAC did this within a day. Because I had bought a Nest, they offered to put their Honeywell thermostat (which was for the first AC unit) on my second AC unit.

Due to some complications with the second AC unit following the thermostat upgrade, Southwest HVAC worked 3 extra hard days to get the second AC unit running again. They worked very hard and very cleanly. Ultimately, I got a very good deal to have the second AC unit replaced as a result of the complications. On top of that, Southwest HVAC threw in a free Nest for the second AC.

I am sincerely pleased with the work done by Southwest and will be returning to them in the future for any and all of my air conditioning needs. The theme of this review is honesty, and I can say that Southwest HVAC does honest business. It's no wonder they have superb records on both Yelp and BBB.

My hat is off to you guys. Please never change. Your company deserves every penny it makes because you earn it with hard work and honest business practices. You have my respect.

I had southwest installed the central air and heat last year and I'm very happy with it. Nice cold air on summer days and warm air on winter. Today I had issue with the air condition unit and called Southwest and they came right and fixed the issue by the way. (It was not anything Southwest done but the someone reversed the fuse for condenser.) Now i have cold air again. Thank you very much.

First of all, let me tell you I contacted about 5 different companies to help me select a new HVAC. I had to replace a 40yr old Lennox 3ton compressor. Unfortunately, some didn't even reply with quotes! Enter, Luis Sanchez from Southwest HVAC. Luis came out at the arranged time and went over a few options with me. Being that I had researched a lot, I had several questions for him during our meeting. The initial price including ductwork was a bit more than I was hoping for at the time so Luis returned at a later date with Julio to take a closer look at my setup.

After satisfying all my questions, we later agreed to replace my obsolete Lennox with a new Daikin 3ton. The appointment was for 8-10 am on Wednesday and Luis and a crew of about 4-5 guys arrived, all dressed and ready to go, at 8am! Let me repeat, 8am! After introductions, Luis passed my project to Mark (lead installer) and Edwardo (installer). These guys knew what they were doing and with the help of the other workers, the system was up and working around 6pm. It was done within the time they stated it would be done so that's great. Luis checked in throughout the day between visiting other customers. He even brought me lunch when he brought the workers lunch! That's never happened before. Also, Luis followed up after the job to ask me how things were going.

By the way, when you call their office someone has always answered and the lady was very professional. I also like their text notification system that allows you to see what is going on with your project. I paid about what I expected to pay for the compressor and coil per my extensive research.

I would definitely recommend Southwest HVAC to anyone I know in need of a replacement or some work done.

The staff and service were AMAZING! Albert and Guillermo were very professional, communicative, and friendly since the start. They gave us their direct cell phone number where we were able to text them at anytime with questions we might have. They gave us the best quote out of the 5 places we contacted! They offered a great quality unit for an affordable price, based on the research my husband and I did. They made a stressful situation painless. I definitely will seek their services again if needed and would recommend them to my friends and family!

I planned to get several bids to replace my existing attic furnace and add central A/C. When I called the first company their first available appointment was 10 days out. Meanwhile, I researched other companies and came across Southwest HVAC. After reading the Yelp reviews, which were consistently 5 star, and seeing one review that decided to select Southwest HVAC after receiving estimates from several companies (one of which I was planning to obtain also) and being extremely happy with their company, I decided not to waste any more time and call Southwest HVAC. When I called for an estimate, they scheduled me for the very next morning. They provided me a text message of when they were on their way and they arrived on time. Albert Nevarez arrived to provide the estimate and also introduced himself as the Project Manager if we decided to move forward. Albert was very thorough in assessing our existing furnace, evaluating our needs for an AC based on our house size, where it would be best positioned and offered several Makes/options to consider; explaining the benefits of each. Albert further explained the work involved, including installation that would required breaching walls and roof, and how they would repair those areas. Albert settled any concerns I had with potential damage, promising to properly seal and patch any areas.

I received the estimate for a new furnace, AC and attic vent. The price was very reasonable. I decided to go with Southwest and they scheduled the work within just a few days. The installers, Jose Penaloza and Jaime Borilla, arrived on time both days to complete the work and they were great through the project. They thoroughly explained what they were going to do prior to doing it to make sure I understood and agreed. They also found that my existing ducts were too big for my existing vents and that the prior work was shotty in how they were secured together. They properly made the repairs to ensure there wouldn't be an leakage of air. Overall, they were great and Project Manager Albert Neverez was very thorough in explaining things and responsive when I had any questions. I highly recommend Southwest HVAC.

Julio and his team provided the best overall quote and value for what we were looking for from a HVAC company. We had AC installed in our home in Lakewood and the Southwest HVAC team did a great job! Once we signed the paperwork, work got started a few days later and ended as promised four days later! Julio recommended the best AC for us and even came back to ensure that the flow to cool down the entire house was correct and adjusted it! Great team, great value.

One of my rental properties HVAC was on the verge of slow death, it was over 30 years old and it's a miracle nothing worse came out of it. This time around I didn't need to start a bidding war against competitors I just called an Angel for help and the heavenly sky opened up I got a brand new HVAC better than ever. From demolition to installation in a single day, stress-free for me and happy tenants, what can I say more, thumbs up!!

We were able to book an appointment quickly within a week! They diagnosed the problem of our central heat and air and the diagnostic fee was applied towards the total cost of the service. The service was quick and efficient. They even took pictures and videos to show us the problem that was occurring with our heater (I thought that was awesome).

The pricing was very reasonable and all staff very professional. The installation was quick and the installers were very neat and courteous. I could tell they took pride in their work and the company and they took time to show me how they reconfigured existing ducting and heating unit to improve operation. Here's the deal guys: Southwest HVAC is awesome. Yesterday, they installed a new 24k Daikin mini-split system in my small back house, and I absolutely could not be happier.

I dealt with Angel, and unlike other companies that I got bids for, which I'm sure saw a single woman and tried to sell me on something I didn't need, he didn't try to give me the run-around and convince me that I needed to spend a ton on running ductwork for traditional HVAC in my small back house, given it's small size. Instead, he gave me the best quote for a mini split system, and included way more stuff in it than the other bids, like the HERS testing, removing the old heating unit from my house, and rough patching.

So, 2 years after we had our system installed by Southwest, there was a problem with the A/C. I called the Southwest office, Julio and his team came out the next day to diagnose it. It took them two days to get the part and they came out and repaired the system. No charge, all under warranty.
Julio and his staff are great to talk to and work with. They go the extra mile to satisfy their clients. I'm really happy we chose to support a local small business and had Southwest install and maintain our heating and cooling system.

Once again, Julio and his crew SAVED us. I have used them several times over the past 10 years, and their service has always been exceptional. Tonight, Fabian (once again) and Johnny brought professional skill and courtesy to an emergency situation and got us cool again on the hottest day of the year. Blessings and thanks to you all. Awesome team and wonderful work!!! Albert is the project manager. Very friendly and knowledge. I decided to go with Southwest after getting quotes from 3 other companies because he was the first guy to suggest the AC UNIT be put in the attic (as opposed to the 2nd floor little closet where the old unit was). The work they did was (almost) perfect!! My temperature upstairs and downstairs are consistent. I don't hear any AC UNIT noise from my 2nd floor bedroom. The only issues I had were these:
When I told them I wanted my patio paved first and then install my AC FAN, Albert the PM suffused for me to do the patio paint AFTERWARDS, so I would get the AC before peak season started and I can also save surface area in which the AC FAN rested on that I don't have to get paved. Well, I am SO GLAD I listened to myself and go my patio paved first. It would have been awkward if I paved around the AC UNIT. Another thing, the AC UNIT blocks my AC window area so I can't install an exhaust fan. Physically no room, if they would have thought I would get van exhaust fan in the near future, perhaps they could have given me a little bit more space. Looking back, I should have put an exhaust fan by attic window first, so SouthWest will work around it. Another thing, a patio tile cracked during the installation process, I told them, and they had my handyman they just met, Fix it, and never got back to me to follow up if they paid him or anything. My handyman is nice and did a great job but I paid him anyway so the time he spend, plus I paid if the extra tile ( I had to go to store a get another one with Thin Set).
To finish my review on a good note, when they used the cheap wood with the splinters on the panels, I didn't like the feel or look of it, I purchased thin white PVC sheet and the workers cut up the pieces ni Roy to cover up the splinter wood. Going the extra mile to fix something cosmetic that they didn't have to do but it made me happy!

We purchased our 100 yr old home in July 2013. Upon researching how much it would cost for heating and air put in, we were impressed by southwest pricing. We were impressed with the professionalism and ease of installation.
It has been several months and we couldn't be more happy. If anyone is looking to install AC we would highly recommend this company.

I can't say enough good things about Julio and Southwest HVAC. I had a very complicated job...some companies didn't even think it was possible for me to install central heat and air because of the low clearance in my attic. But the Southwest crew got it done quickly, cleanly and best of all, cheaply! Additionally, when I discovered a small amount of damage from the install 3 weeks later, Julio had someone out the very same day to repair it. I couldn't believe it. I've done a lot of work on my properties and hired a lot of different people; my experience with Southwest HVAC was by far the best. i honestly didn't think you could still get the kind of fantastic service that Southwest delivers.

We have been enjoying our new AC from Southwest HVAC for a little over two weeks. We had to remove asbestos wrapped ducts, install AC for the first time in this house and replace and relocate our heater. The estimate was one of the more affordable quotes and we were able to upgrade to the best equipment they offer. I cannot tell you how many people have commented on how quiet our new system is. The crew was polite, knowledgable and left each day only after there was zero mess. Angel Meza came out and was 100% professional. We have already referred three more families to Southwest.

Although I had a disappointing experience the first time I called Southwest, Julio followed up with a phone call, a letter of apology, a complimentary service and a refund. This company really cares about the customer, and I am revising my review to reflect the concern they show for their customers. Not only will I be calling them again, but I will recommend them to my neighbors. Thank you Julio!

This is my first review on Yelp!Excellent company!!! Called for a full installation of a hvac system in our new home . The project manager Albert came the same day at a time when my husband could be here after work. He walked us through everything we need to know and things we didn't know. He checked our attic and ask me where I wanted the vent and things and when I explained I didn't want the system on the roof he accommodated my request. Which I will say some of the other bids we got didn't want to do. We got 4 other bids and they seemed the lowest, the most knowledgeable,and the nicest company. Did not try to up sell or talk me into anything. The crew that installed was awesome! Johnny and I believe Fransisco were very nice they arrived around the same time everyday. They covered furniture and laid drop cloths on the floor.They cleaned up after themselves when they were done every day which is a big plus.i would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to install ac. They started when they promised ,finished when they promised and you only pay when they are done. A very nice and professional company.Now I'm happy and cool as a cucumber, bring it summer!!:) thank you southwest ac!!
